Susan is the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition for Medidata Solutions. Medidata is the world’s leading provider of cloud-based software and solutions for Life Sciences and Clinical Trial development. Her team is focused on attracting and selecting top talent globally. She leads all aspects of talent acquisition: employment branding, recruitment advertising, recruiting systems, university relations, executive search, technical and professional recruiting, and talent operations. The company is growing rapidly and scaling its talent acquisition capability to support it’s growth objective of $1B in revenue.

Prior to joining Medidata, Susan led Global Talent Acquisition and Executive Recruiting for eBay Marketplaces where she managed a team of 115 recruiting professionals in the US, Europe, and Asia. The team filled over 4000 requisitions covering all functions and levels including executive, professional, high volume and technical talent. From 2004 to 2008, Susan was the Vice President of Talent for Caesars Entertainment, Inc. the world’s largest gaming company. Susan placed over 1500 executives, built Caesars executive team and led succession planning, talent reviews, M&A integration and HRIS systems. She launched the highly regarded MBA World Series of Poker and started the company’s first College Recruiting program.

Her executive background includes senior operating roles in consulting, marketing and business development with Egon Zehnder, IBM, Tandem (now HP), Unwired Planet, Resumix (now Yahoo!) and Verifone. She was the CEO of Watermark, a Silicon Valley non-profit for women executives and entrepreneurs. In 2011, Susan was selected to be the President of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association for Northern California where she led fundraising and all aspects of running a 1200 member not-for-profit organization. She currently serves on the Board for the Harvard Business School Alumni Women’s Association of New York.

Susan is an honors graduate of UC Berkeley and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
