Wendy Smith is a self-proclaimed lifelong learner, and there’s nothing she’s more passionate about than challenging old paradigms, especially when that means helping others to learn, grow and achieve their personal goals and dreams.

At NCR, she focuses on creating the most exceptional employee experiences that win over the hearts and minds of the people she calls her iNCRedible Team Members, a name created during the design and development of NCR First Steps, the award-winning global onboarding program she has directed from scratch. Smith has been at NCR for 15 years, and touts experience in HRIS, CI/CX, HR Shared Services and Global Learning. Most recently, she was named Head of Candidate and New Employee Experiences, creating and directing experiences for more than 100,000 candidates and 5,000 new hires globally each year.

Fun facts:

• Loves punk rock and muscle cars — she listens to Rancid, Flogging Molly and other great punk groups, while driving her Dodge Challenger R/T
• Is an avid (perhaps obsessive) sports fan — she once paid for a trip for her entire family to go to England just to watch a single soccer game
• Has most recently obtained her Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt
• Escaped from the Midwest to wonderful Atlanta in 2010 with her husband and two kids
